These Artist and Seller Terms supplement the Terms of Service. If they conflict, these terms control for artist uploads, music sales, and payouts.
1. Seller eligibility
An artist seller must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract, or must operate through a verified parent, guardian, or authorized business representative. Sellers must complete Stripe onboarding and any required identity, tax, sanctions, and bank verification.
2. Rights clearance
You may upload only content for which you control all necessary rights. This includes the master recording, composition, lyrics, performance, samples, beats, artwork, photography, names, logos, and metadata. You are responsible for agreements and payments owed to collaborators, publishers, labels, licensors, unions, collecting societies, and tax authorities.
3. Pricing and transactions
You authorize urTrax and Stripe to process customer payments, issue legally required refunds, manage disputes, deduct disclosed charges, and deliver net proceeds to your connected account. Pricing, currencies, taxes, and availability may vary by market.
4. Fees
The urTrax platform fee is 0% of music and merch sales, so urTrax takes no commission from a sale and there is no seller subscription. urTrax pays Stripe payment-processing costs out of membership revenue rather than deducting them from your share. Selling requires an active urTrax membership, on the same terms as any other member. You remain responsible for your own taxes, and a refunded, disputed, or charged-back sale is unwound together with the proceeds attributable to it. Any future change to the platform fee will apply only to sales completed after the change and will be disclosed in advance as required by law.
5. Refunds, disputes, and negative balances
You authorize deductions or offsets for refunds, chargebacks, fraud, duplicate transactions, rights disputes, and amounts you owe. You remain responsible for a negative balance. We may pause sales or payouts until the balance or underlying issue is resolved.
6. Removal and completed purchases
You may request removal of content you control, subject to reasonable processing time, legal preservation, disputes, and continued access necessary to honor completed purchases. Removing content does not eliminate obligations arising before removal.
7. No guaranteed results
urTrax does not guarantee sales, streams, discovery, followers, revenue, payout timing, or continued availability in every market.
